Volunteering is a profoundly rewarding experience that allows individuals to make a tangible difference in their communities or for a cause they are passionate about. It offers a unique opportunity to give back, harness one's skills and talents for the greater good, and connect with like-minded individuals who share a common commitment to creating positive change. Volunteering not only contributes to the betterment of society but also fosters personal growth, empathy, and a sense of purpose that can be deeply fulfilling.

TUTORS & MENTORS

A major component of the services provided by Heartland 180 that supplements the 180 Curriculum includes providing volunteers who offer academic tutoring and life skills mentoring. Research shows that the success or our youth increases as more adults take and active and personal interest in the lives of these young people.

  • school supplies

  • snacks and/or meals

  • family support groups and services

  • community service project support

  • volunteers and mentors

ALL adults working with youth at Heartland 180 are required to complete a background check. Please contact our office for the required forms or more information.
